Bell Choir

Adult Choir

           It’s that time of year again!  The adult choir will start rehearsing again on Tuesday, August 26 at 7 pm (note the time change from our usual time).  We will be singing for Festival of the Cross on September 14^th jointly with the Holy Cross choir.  Our normal Wednesday practice time will resume on Wednesday, September 3^rd at 7 pm.  New singers are always welcome to join at any time.  The choir usually sings on the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays of the month at both services.  Come and check us out!  Contact Gretchen Byer at ggbyer@msn.com or 235-8166 if you have any questions.

Promise Song Choir

Promise Song is our youth choir for students in 3^rd through 7^th grade.  We will begin practicing on Wednesday, September 10^th at 6:30 pm to 7 pm (note the time change from last year).  We will sing on the first Sunday of every month through May at the beginning of the 9 and 11 services.  Come and join in the singing with us, you are always welcome!  Contact Gretchen Byer at ggbyer@msn.com or 235-8166 if you have any questions.

Voices of the Cross

Voices of the Cross is our worship team that leads contemporary services at Lutheran Church of the Cross.  We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm to rehearse and lead worship on the 2^nd Sunday of the month at 9 am and the 4^th Sunday of the month at 11 am.  We are currently looking for singers, guitarists, drummers, and instrumentalists who love to play contemporary Christian music.  Contact Gretchen Byer at ggbyer@msn.com or 235-8166 if you have any questions.

♫ HANDCHIMES CHOIR FOR LCC YOUTH! ♫

           Do you go to church at LCC?  Are you in grades 4-8 in school?  Do you enjoy music?  Have you heard the handbell choir play at church and thought that was pretty cool?  If so, you are invited to become part of a new group forming this fall at LCC.

I will be starting a chimers’ choir for the youth of LCC in the fall of 2008.  This group of  youth musicians would play the handchimes that you have seen our handbell choir play.   Rehearsals would start in mid-September and they would most likely play once per month at Sunday service(s) this first year.   So far, I have four kids who are interested!  I would really like to have eight kids to start the group.  If you are interested in playing handchimes beginning this fall or you have any questions, please contact:

HANDBELL CHOIR

Our LCC Handbell Choir will be getting back into ringing action beginning the last week of August!  They will first be ringing for our Festival of the Cross celebration on Sunday, September 14^th jointly with the Holy Cross handbell choir.  Rehearsals will be on Thursday evenings, 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.  This group usually rings at services on the 2^nd and 4^th Sundays of each month, as well as at special services such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.  Several times during the year, they also play concerts or other events in our community.  If you are interested in joining LCC’s Handbell Choir, whether as a full-time ringer or a substitute ringer, please contact:
