Lutheran Church of the Cross is currently seeking to fill the position of Small Group Ministry Coordinator.

Primary focus will be to coordinate, oversee, and assist in developing and leading Small Group Ministry.
Full-time – Days and hours will vary – Salary Depending On Experience/Qualifcations
Qualifications:
· Christ-centered behavior (treating people with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity at all times)
· Possess strong interpersonal skills and act as liaison between small groups and all levels of the church staff and congregation
· Leadership abilities gained through various experiences or previous work responsibilities that mobilized people toward a cause
· Provide/assist with educational training and encouragement for small group leaders
· Self starter with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
· Essential office skills such as typing, e-mail, use of word processing programs and spreadsheets
· Flexible schedule to meet the needs of small groups which may include evenings and weekends
· Member of the ELCA faith
· Creative thinker
· Enthusiastic and committed to small group ministries
· Education or related experiences consistent with the requirements of this position
